Our Services

Our experienced contractors are versed in many different construction skills. Below is a list of some of those skills as they relate to remodeling and renovating bathroom showers and tubs.

Bathroom remodeling with your style in mind.

We work with you to find the products and materials that meet your needs as well as reflect your personality. Taking time to research the many product types and textures aid in providing you a beautiful finished product that you will be proud of.

Removal of existing tub/shower unit.

Removing a tub or shower unit can take a day or more to accomplish. We may need to cut your existing unit into many pieces to accomplish this goal. It is very important that we have a game plan together and allow ample time to safely and properly disconnect the water supply lines as well as the drain. If your original tub is equipped with a Jacuzzi type pump, we need to properly disconnect the electrical and properly secure the electrical lines. We also need to protect the surrounding areas whether it is painted sheetrock or ceramic tile. Then we properly dispose of the debris while protecting the rest of your house.

Removal of existing tile shower.

Removing a tile shower requires an even more challenging process. Normally we cut sections of tile off the wall including the substrate, usually sheetrock or backer board. We take extra caution with the broken ceramic tile because the edges can be very sharp and dangerous. Tearing out the floor tile may require breaking up a concrete pan that can be up to 3 inches thick. It will be noisy and dusty so we take precautions as needed.

Turning a Closet into a shower or tub area.

It seems like very few houses have enough closet space. However, sometimes it might be more advantageous to turn a seldom used closet into a beautiful 2nd or 3rd bathroom. Maybe you need a Jack & Jill bathroom shared by two bedrooms. Or maybe all you need is a ½ bath with a commode and vanity/sink. We will work with you and your particular situation to provide the best possible return on your investment.

Build a truly Age in Place bathroom.

Unfortunately, we are all get older and someday will require additional help and accessories just to go to the bathroom or take a shower. Therefore, adding a couple of grab bars in your shower or along the bathroom walls might be worth considering. Perhaps you would like to minimize the height at the entrance to your shower. Adding an additional movable shower head might also come in handy. If you are doing a total bath remodel, it might be a good time to increase the width of the bathroom doorway to allow ample room for a walker or wheel chair. At a very minimum, many of these items need to be considered for future use as well as adding value and additional potential buyers if you ever decided to sell your home.

Installation of a stand-alone tub.

Stand-alone tubs can be very beautiful and add a lot of class and elegance to a bathroom. However, installing a lone tub can sometimes be more complicated and expensive than a normal tub surround or wall tub. Getting the water supply lines and especially the drain connected properly can be challenging. If the bathroom is on the 2nd floor or located in an area where we cannot easily access the plumbing from below then the installation may require opening up a ceiling area on a lower level. Obviously that would require repairing the opening and probably painting the entire ceiling in that room as well as all the connecting hallways. That being said, it can be done. We work with you to determine what works best for your specific situation.

Installing new commodes, vanities, sinks and pedestal sinks.

We work with you to determine the best layout for your new bathroom including vanity and commode placement. New commodes can be installed or we can reinstall your existing one. Same goes for your vanity or pedestal sink.

Installing new ceramic tile or other flooring.

Your bathroom floor is extremely important in the grand scheme of things. You can elect to leave your existing flooring and we carefully work to protect it from damage. However, if you would like a change,  we can remove your existing flooring and install new ceramic tile, vinyl plank flooring, or hardwood flooring. The decision is yours and needs to be determined prior to beginning the remodel process. We will gladly work with you on determining a suitable floor for your project.
